Stephen C. Greenberger, MAS

Stephen C. Greenberger currently works at the Broward County Sheriff’s Office Department of Law Enforcement, Special Projects Unit. He is very involved in the community and serves on numerous non-profit committees including Bit By Bit Equine Assisted Therapy, Boys & Girls Club Golf Classic Committee, MADD Broward Steering Committee, Lauren’s Kids, The James Jr. Fund, NOVA A Day for Children, and My Wish For You Israeli Cancer Children. In the past he has served on numerous Boards and committees including as President of Broward County Crime Stoppers, Florida Sheriff’s Association Conference Committee, Kaiser University Advisory Board, and on the JCC Maccabi Games 2015 committee. Stephen has received numerous awards for his community service including the 2006 Presidential Volunteerism Award, the 2006 and 2007 Director’s Award from Broward County Crime Stoppers, the Hallandale Beach 2009 Police Athletic League Man of the Year, and the 2014 Broward County Sheriff’s Special Recognition Award. He was the Broward County Chamber Man of the Year in 2010. In 2010 he received the H. Wayne Huizenga Vendor Award; in 2011 he was recognized with the Broward County Crime Stopper Outstanding Leadership Award; and in 2012 the Broward County Chiefs of Police gave Stephen the Outstanding Commitment Award. In 2016 Stephen received The Broward Sheriff’s Advisory Council’s Special Recognition Award. Stephen believes that “giving back to the community is so important, and we can make a difference in people’s lives.” He states that he is “so proud to serve on the Board of Debbie’s Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer.”
