Gut Check for Stomach Cancer

Debbie’s Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer (DDF) is proud to support Gut Check for Stomach Cancer, a powerful local awareness event led by patient advocate and DDF Board Member Yoli Day, Kelle Brown, and Joan Justin-George and with co-sponsorship support from BioMed SA and endorsement from the Mayor’s Fitness Council of San Antonio.

This inaugural community event amplifies local advocacy and encourages South Texans to “listen to their gut” about symptoms, risk factors, and life-saving resources.

ENTRY FEES
5K Run/Walk
7/28 – 9/1: $35
9/2 – 11/7: $40
Day of Race: $50

1 Mile Walk (1 Mile Walk is NOT a timed event):
7/28 – 9/1: $30
9/2 – 11/7: $35
Day of Race: $45

  • Participants must register by October 8th, 2025 to receive a t-shirt. Participants who register on October 9th thru race day will NOT receive a t-shirt.

RACE DAY SCHEDULE
7:30 AM – Day of Packet Pick-Up and Onsite Registration
9:00 AM – 5K Run/Walk Begins
9:05 AM – 1 Mile Run/Walk (Start time will be after the 5k has cleared the start line)
