Through the Where Research Funding Leads: DDF-AACR Research Impact Series, Debbie’s Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer shines a spotlight on the researchers whose careers and discoveries have been supported through the Foundation’s longstanding partnership with the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR).
Hosted by DDF CEO Amanda Pullinger, this interview series features conversations with past DDF-AACR grant recipients as they reflect on their research journeys, the impact of early-career funding, and how their work continues to advance gastric cancer prevention, early detection, treatment, and patient care.
Since 2014, Debbie’s Dream Foundation and AACR have partnered to invest in promising investigators and innovative research, helping accelerate discoveries that have the potential to improve outcomes for patients and families affected by stomach cancer. 2026 AACR-Debbie’s Dream Foundation Innovation and Discovery Grant
Applications are now open for the 2026 AACR-Debbie’s Dream Foundation Innovation and Discovery Grant, a $100,000 research award over two years designed to support innovative gastric cancer research and help accelerate discoveries for patients and families affected by stomach cancer.
Application Deadline: July 22, 2026
Researchers interested in applying are encouraged to review the eligibility requirements and application instructions through the American Association for Cancer Research.
