Debbie’s Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer (DDF), the Korean Gastric Cancer Association (KGCA), and National Cancer Center Korea (NCC) will host the DDF-KGCA-NCC International Gastric Cancer Educational Symposium for Patients on October 30, 2026 United States and October 31, 2026 Korea, at Seoul National University Hospital in Seoul, South Korea.
The international symposium will bring together gastric cancer experts, patients, advocates, and organizations from across Asia and the United States to share knowledge on screening, early detection, treatment, and survivorship. The program will also include participation from the Chinese Gastric Cancer
Association (CGCA) and the Japanese Gastric Cancer Association (JGCA), creating an opportunity for cross-border education and collaboration centered on patients and families.

Following the patient journey, the program will address screening and early detection, surgery, systemic treatment, and survivorship. A central focus will be an “East Meets West” exchange exploring differences in gastric cancer detection, treatment, and care, and lessons from approaches in Korea, Japan, and China.
