Presented in proud partnership with HelloFresh, this installment of Cooking Up Fresh! Recipes and Tips for Gastric Cancer Wellness featured Chef Zach and oncology dietitian Mary-Eve Brown, RD, LDN, as they demonstrated stomach cancer-friendly recipes thoughtfully adapted to support the unique nutritional needs of patients. Participants had the opportunity to cook along using preselected HelloFresh meal kits while learning practical strategies for preparing flavorful, nourishing meals at home.

Joining the program was special guest Amy Toner, PA-C, a physician assistant at the University of Maryland Medical System, CDH1 patient advocate, and total gastrectomy survivor. Amy shared her personal experience navigating hereditary stomach cancer risk and life after gastrectomy, offering valuable perspectives alongside evidence-based nutrition guidance. Together, the presenters combined culinary instruction, nutrition expertise, and lived experience to help patients, survivors, and caregivers build confidence in preparing meals that support health and quality of life.
