August 15, 2026: RAMI’S RACE 5K/10K
On August 15, 2026, the Michigan community came together for RAMI’S RACE 5K/10K, a community-organized run/walk benefiting Debbie’s Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer and held in memory of Rami, who passed away from stomach cancer at just 22 years old.
The event was an incredible success, raising more than $15,000 to support stomach cancer research while bringing together family, friends, and members of the community to honor Rami’s life and legacy.
DDF is deeply grateful to Razan Shams, the event organizers, participants, donors, sponsors, and everyone who helped make RAMI’S RACE a success. Community-led efforts like this help advance progress against stomach cancer while creating meaningful ways for people to turn remembrance into action.
RAMI’S RACE was independently organized by members of the community and benefited Debbie’s Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer.
