Cindy Goodman

Cindy Krischer Goodman is an award-winning business journalist. Her nationally distributed column and blog, The Work Life Balancing Act, appears weekly in The Miami Herald and hundreds of newspapers across the county.

As a longtime journalist, Cindy has contributed to widely read publications such as Money Magazine, Working Mother Magazine, Florida Trend, The Real Deal and The Miami Herald’s Business Monday. She also publishes a Raising Teens blog and a weekly work life blog for benefits giant, Ceridian LifeWorks. Cindy has appeared as a weekly contributor on the morning newscast of CBS 4/My 33 and regularly makes public speaking appearances. As a Miami Herald business writer for more than 20 years, Cindy specialized in coverage of the law, real estate, women in business and workplace issues. She has received media award recognition from journalism, business, and charitable organizations

Cindy is a past board member of Women Executive Leadership and the Indian Ridge Parent Teacher Organization and gives back to her local community through her volunteer work. She also has served as a judge for The Miami Herald’s Silver Knight Awards, the National Association of Women Business Owners BRAVO Awards and the South Miami Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year awards. Cindy graduated from the University of Florida and lives in Broward County with her husband and three children.
