Lawrence R. Kleinberg, MD

Dr. Kleinberg is an Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology and Radiation Molecular Sciences at Johns Hopkins University. He received his medical degree from yale University and trained in radiation oncology at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He has been chair and co-chair of esophageal cancer clinical trials at Johns Hopkins University and the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group. Dr. Kleinberg recently became the chair of the Esophagogastric Task Force of the National Cancer Institute Gastrointestinal Cancer Steering Committee, after six years as the vice chair. He is also active in clinical care and clinical research for brain and spine cancers.
