Peer Reviewed Cancer Research Program Funding Opportunities

Join Donna Kimbark, Ph.D. to learn how Congress decides, as part of the annual appropriations process, how much funding to allocate to the PRCRP and which cancers are eligible to compete for research funding. For Fiscal Year 2021, the program received $115 million and grant opportunities will be announced soon. Among the cancers eligible for research funding again this year is stomach cancer.

Since FY 2015, $22.3 million has been invested in stomach cancer research through the PRCRP and success rates remain favorable for stomach cancer research applicants.
