The Maine Chapter was founded by Anna Stoessinger who was diagnosed in April 2011 with Stage 2 gastric cancer. She underwent chemo and a total curative gastrectomy over the course of the year. Anna is a writer who works in advertising. She lives with her husband Keith and their dog Bess.
