The Chicago Half Marathon gave runners the chance to run on Lake Shore Drive! This scenic 13.1 mile course began at 7 a.m. and started and finished in Jackson Park. Our team in the Chicago Half Marathon raised over $1,750 for DDF! Many thanks to our runners on the Dream Team, volunteers, and supporters!

DDF’s Ohio Dream Team raised awareness about stomach cancer and spread the word about Debbie’s Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer on Sunday, September 17 at the Race with Grace in St. Medina, Ohio. Pink & Blues, a children’s boutique in Plantation, hosted a “Girls Night Out” fundraiser shopping event on Thursday, August 24th to raise funds and awareness for Debbie’s Dream Foundation. Those who attended the event experienced a night of great fashion and food while benefitting a great cause! 20% of all proceeds went directly to Debbie’s Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer.

For the second year, the Debbie’s Dream Youth Leadership Council is holding an essay contest for students in three categories – high school, middle school, and elementary school. One winner will be chosen from each category. Celebrity judges will be reviewing all of the submissions.

The 8th anniversary of Debbie’s Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer was celebrated at our 8th Annual Dream Makers Gala on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at The Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood Florida. We had over 570 registered attendees and raised more than $335,000.
