On June 4th, 2019 Dorinda was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer. She began chemotherapy on June 14th. By the first week in November, she was told that her cancer was in remission. In January 2020 the doctors told Dorinda her cancer had returned. By February hospice was called in. Dorinda passed away at her home with her family and friends by her side on March 3rd, 2020.
