Scott Thaler
Scott Thaler has been involved with Debbie’s Dream Foundation from the beginning of the organization. As Debbie’s childhood neighbor, Scott was eager to help her realize her dream and brought a personal touch and professional eye to the development of the original Debbie’s Dream logo and branding project. As the foundation continued to grow, he helped in the re-naming and re-branding of the organization as “Debbie’s Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer.”
Scott is a senior leader at Zimmerman Advertising and a seasoned brand marketing and advertising executive. In his current role, Scott is dedicated to making the most of digital marketing and solutions for his national retail clients. He has successfully developed marketing solutions that go further than awareness and interest, but actually, create action. He feels that digital presence counts, but results will always count more. If that sounds more like the fire of an entrepreneur than a typical advertising agency person, it is. With more than two decades in the agency business leading nationally recognized campaigns, more than five years of internet start-ups, as well as rising to the level of Senior Vice President at a Fortune 500 company, Equifax, Scott brings a well-rounded marketing and business perspective to Debbie’s Dream Foundation. Scott’s intimate understanding of digital technology and how it has shaped the way consumers interact with brands buy goods and services, and influence decisions have led to successful digital and marketing results.
Scott received a B.S. degree from the University of Florida. He has guest lectured at the University of South Florida and the University of Miami and is very active within a number of professional organizations. Scott is married to Lara and is active in other charitable organizations including the Alzheimer’s Association, zMotion charitable giving, and Zimmerman’s Live Long Live Strong event benefiting Miami Children’s Hospital.
