Lakshmi Rajdev, MD, MS

Dr. Lakshmi Rajdev is Director of GI Oncology Western Region at Northwell Health Cancer Institute and Chief of Hematology and Oncology at Lenox Hill Hospital, New York, NY. She completed her training in Hematology and Oncology at New York University Medical Center and also received a Masters in Clinical Research at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She chairs or co-chairs both investigator-initiated and cooperative group studies in esophagogastric cancer, and is an active member of the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group EsophagoGastric Working Group. Dr. Rajdev is a rotating member of the EsophagoGastric Task Force of the National Cancer Institute Gastrointestinal Cancer Steering Committee. She is developing new therapies for gastrointestinal malignancies. She has written or co-written many articles, book chapters, and abstracts and is a frequently invited lecturer.
