Indran Indrakrishnan, MD

Dr. Indran Indrakrishnan is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Emory University School of Medicine and for the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka. After the completion of an internship and residency in internal medicine, Dr. Indrakrishnan completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Herpetology at Queen’s University Group of Hospitals in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Indrakrishnan is the former president and a board member of the Georgia Gastroenterology and Endoscopic Society. He is a member of the Georgia Board for Physicians Workforce, which monitors and forecasts the distribution of general practitioners and medical specialists throughout the state and supports medical education programs that encourage doctors to stay in underserved communities.
